Presented on the 8th of October by Syntec Numérique and Ernst & Young in front of 400 digital professionals, this ranking highlights French software stakeholders in order to underline their strategic place in the economy.
Beemo Technologie was ranked 243rd in the Top 250 French software publishers and 107th in the “horizontal” category.
This ranking confirms Beemo Technologie’s leading role in the data backup software market.
Software publishers, a sector of excellence in the French economy :
This study also confirmed the dynamism of this sector despite a difficult environment and strong foreign competition : more than 9 billion of euros in turnover in 2013, an annual growth rate still above 6%, more than 10,000 jobs created in 2 years, constant innovation policies. All these elements make it a key sector of the french economy.
Methodology of the panorama :
The overview was established on the basis of a survey of French software industry players. Only French companies declaring that they were not a subsidiary of a foreign group in the year in question were included. The overall ranking was made on the basis of the turnover corresponding to the software publishing activity.
More than 350 publishers were included in the study this year.
The publishers have been divided into 3 categories according to profiles and specialities :
- “Sector-specific” publishers dedicated to a particular sector of activity,
- “Horizontal” publishers with a general offer to all sectors of activity,
- The “individuals & games” publishers.
