New feature : the fleet report

Backup :

The fleet report gives you an overview of your Beemo fleet to provide an indicator of the status of your data backup service.

The different error categories are only displayed if a problem is detected. If a category contains less than 20 problems, they are all displayed. Otherwise, the words “Examples on your park” appear and only the first 20 results are displayed. Each problem listed is accompanied by a link to the Beemo or backup set in question on the partner console.

Error types

The following are the different categories of errors that may appear in the report :

– Beemo out of supervision – Beemo disconnected from the backup centre – Beemo unable to synchronise their data to the remote Beemo – Beemo with only local backup sets – Beemo with more than 95% of its disk full – Beemo with at least one backup set in error due to insufficient disk space – Beemo without an alert or report email address – Backup sets without retention – Server backup sets with errors – Server backup sets with read errors – Disconnected server backup sets that have not had a backup for at least 7 days – Backup sets with errors – Backup sets with read errors – Disconnected workstation backup sets that have not had a backup for at least 30 days – Backup sets that have not been 100% externalized for at least 7 days – Backup sets that were not scheduled – Backup sets with insufficient versioning (less than 3 versions or less than 3 days) – Backup sets without a perimeter – Backup sets in file mode that included c:\WINDOWS – Exchange backup sets using mailbox mode – Disk image backup sets on a virtual machine – Backup sets backing up a volume in file mode and disk image mode – Hyper-V/ESX(i) backup sets not using block mode with deduplication – Mobile/BeeHive backup sets not enabled

Risks of data loss

The park rating provides an indicator of the current and future state of the park, as well as an indicator of the overall state of the replications. The current state represents the current risk of not being able to restore all the data. The future state represents the future risk of not being able to restore all data. The replication state represents the risk of losing data in the event of a disaster (loss of the Beemo appliance) at the main site. Based on the different states calculated (current, future and replication), an estimate of the risk of data loss is presented (low, medium or high).
