Most of your customers have most likely opted to migrate to Microsoft 365, which means that a lot of essential data is now automatically stored in the Microsoft cloud and needs to be backed up.

We are pleased to announce a feature that many of you have been waiting for : Beemo now supports SharePoint data backup. Thanks to the efforts of our R&D team, we have developed a communication plugin specifically for the Microsoft 365 environment, which enables data to be backed up and restored for customers using Microsoft SaaS software.

We are proud to say that SharePoint data backup, like all other Beemo features, is included at no extra cost with every Beemo appliance with an active licence.

As with all Beemo features, the restoration can be done either to the original location within the same SharePoint site or to another SharePoint site of your choice. It is also possible to restore on the same site but in a specific location. At the start of the restoration process, you can also create or select a restoration target. In the SharePoint context, the restoration target can be a folder or a container/object of the “Documentation Library” type.

Our recommendation : create separate backup sets for SharePoint, OneDrive and the e-mails.
