Check that your customers’ backups are outsourced

To enable your customers to restore their data in the event of a major disaster, it is important to ensure that the data they store on the backup box is outsourced. To enable you to monitor the status of data synchronisation, Beemo has introduced the synchronisation rate.

It allows you to know, for each licence, the percentage of data actually outsourced. You can consult this rate in three places :

– From the “Licences” tab where a “+” symbol is visible in case of complete outsourcing or the figure indicating the percentage of data actually outsourced,

– From the “Backup Games” tab, where you will find the same information,

– From the daily report which gives a daily status of the data synchronisation.

The causes of poor synchronisation can be various. For example, there may be an internet outage, the bandwidth may be too low or with too much throttling, or the volume of data to be outsourced may be too large.

It is important that the synchronisation is complete, so that your customers can recover all their data in the event of a major disaster.
