Founded in 2002 by Gabriel Biberian and managed by his sister Mélanie, Beemo Technologie has come to meet the need for data backup, which until then had existed mainly for large companies. « The initial idea was to democratise for VSEs and SMEs solutions that were then intended only for large accounts and offered only by major american publishers », points out Mélanie Biberian.

Intensive digitisation

The increasing use of paperless systems in all areas of the business raises the issue of how to properly store this data, which is often confidential and all the more vulnerable because the company’s entire brain now resides in the IT system. Beemo Technologie offers backup on a box within the company itself, which will capture data from the local network of computers, servers and mobile workstations (those of sales representatives or teleworking employees), in order to centralise them on the box so as to have a complete copy. Several versions are kept in case of an attack, so that the box can be traced back in time. This data is transferred to the two French data centers in Marseille and Lyon, or to another box at a second site chosen by the customer.
