To what extent was the implementation of a backup solution essential for your business ?
Since 1996, we have been committed to a quality approach whose main objective is the satisfaction of our customers. As an ISO 9001 certified company, we have an obligation to “maintain the infrastructure necessary to achieve product compliance”, including our information system. It was therefore essential for the smooth running of our business and to meet the requirements of the certification to regularly back up the company’s data.
Why did you choose the Beemo solution ?
Before using the Beemo backup solution, our backups were done on magnetic tape. Apart from the purchase of the equipment, the cost of this operation was limited to the occasional acquisition of some tapes. When we renewed our server, we realised that the tape drive we had been using was incompatible with the new hardware and that the cost of replacing the hardware was far too high. The price of the backup was one of our selection criteria, which led us to choose the Beemo solution, whose acquisition and maintenance price is very attractive.
What are the advantages of this solution for you ?
We were looking for a solution that would be easy to install and manage on a daily basis and that would allow us to perform both internal and external backup of our data. These characteristics are found in the Beemo solution, which is also a reliable and efficient solution. We were also very pleased with the recovery process we put in place following data loss due to user mishandling (deleting or overwriting files). The restoration was carried out very quickly and was simple to set up.
