Microsoft Exchange messaging tools are an integral part of your customer issues, but these tools are still complex to set up and back up correctly.

So we’ve added a new feature to the Data Safe Restore backup agent to simplify the entire Exchange backup process.
Exchange uses an Extensible Storage Engine (ESE) database to store your emails, calendars and contacts. This database works with transaction logs that keep track of every operation made on the database. This allows you to go back in time if an operation has damaged your database. These logs are never deleted by Exchange itself and may eventually fill the server’s hard drive.

The new option “Exchange Server Databases” allows you to delete these transaction logs once they have been saved by the BeeBox and are no longer needed by the Exchange Server.
